Our Programs

RRUMNS was established over 50 years ago to provide quality, loving care for children ages 3 to 5 years old. We are passionate about Early Childhood Education and would like to be a part of the growth and development of your child!

The purpose of the Rocky River United Methodist Nursery School is to provide an atmosphere of love and understanding in which children can grow physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally under the guidance of experienced teachers.

Program Objectives:

  • To provide an environment in which each child’s self concept can be enhanced
  • To provide an environment where children can explore, discover, and develop naturally
  • To build a good relationship with each family and to expand on the foundation provided at home
  • To provide an atmosphere that fosters good social interaction and development ·To provide experiences for children in literature, science, art, music, and physical activities
  • To provide simple biblical content to enhance our curriculum
  • To provide an atmosphere that is comfortable, safe, challenging, and enjoyable

Classes and Times for the 2019-2020 School Year:

Classes are available in the morning and afternoon.

Our class times are 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM or 12:30 PM – 2:45 PM.

Our 3’s Class offers three options:

      • Our 2 day 3-Year-Old Class meets twice a week (on Tuesday & Wednesday AM or PM or Thursday & Friday AM).
        Child must be 3 by September 30, 2018 (for the 2018-2019 school year).
      • Our 3 day 3-Year-Old Class meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday PM Only
        Child must be 3 by September 30, 2018.
      • Our Young Threes Class Meets Thursday and Friday AM Only
        This class will start January 4, 2019
        For children turning 3 between October 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

Our Pre-K Class offers two options:

      • 3 Days – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
      • 4 Days – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This additional day enhances our traditional 3-day program for Kindergarten Readiness.

Parents are encouraged to be a part of the school’s programs. PJ’s & Popcorn night, Father’s Day, Mother’s Visitation, Special Person’s Day, Spring Picnic and conferences help to develop a closer bond between home and school.

Tuition and Fees for 2019-2020

Nonrefundable Registration Fee ($50) and Snack/Supply Fee ($30): $80

3’s Classes:

      • 2 day 3-Year-Old Class: $930 (6 payments of $155)
      • 3 day 3-Year-Old Class: $1350 (6 payments of $225)
      • Young 3 Class: $552 (Registration fee is $40 for this program)

Pre-K Classes:

      • 3 days: $1,350 (6 payments of $225)
      • 4 days: $1,776 (6 payments of $296)
